Azure Databricks receives HITRUST CSF certification

Data Bricks, a unified data analytics provider, has announced that Azure Databricks is certified by the HITRUST Common Security Framework (HITRUST CSF).

HITRUST develops, manages and provides common risk and compliance management frameworks and related assessment and backup methods in collaboration with public and private privacy executives, the information security and risk management. HITRUST creates and maintains a common security framework (CSF), a certifiable framework that enables companies and their supply chains to demonstrate security and compliance in a consistent and lean manner. CSF is based on HIPAA and HITECH laws and includes security, data protection and other regulatory requirements from existing frameworks such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001 and MARS-E.
